It’s all and well using a food processor however after use it can sometimes be a pain in the backside to clean, but hopefully with these few tips you will be able to clean your food processor it next to no time at all. The problem with food processors is that not all food processors, their accessories and bowls can be cleaned in a dish washer and some have special cleaning requirements depending on what they’re made with.

One thing is for sure and that is you should never use a scour brush or something similar on your blades, it can not only damage them but also can reduce their life expectency so to speak. There are certain accessories that can be put in the dish washer, however you will need to look at your manual for further information on this.

You should also never leave blades or accessories in a bowl of hot water, or any water for that matter, you should always clean them as soon as physically possible.
